Funds Received So Far!

Ocean Grove is a treasured place and its unique, rich heritage has set it apart as God’s Square Mile on the Jersey Shore. In recognition of our 150-year legacy of fulfilling the vision to be a seaside community where all generations can know and grow in Jesus, we proudly present the AN AMERICAN TREASURE campaign to significantly continue that legacy and advance our mission of providing opportunities for spiritual birth, growth and renewal through worship, education, cultural and recreational activities by funding key strategic initiatives vital to the future of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association.

Enhance our seaside community by completing beachfront repairs. $550,000

___ Underway – rebuild the Ocean Grove pier as a publicly accessible attraction for all to enjoy.

___ Repair beachfront facilitie.

Extend the viability of historic buildings by funding critical needs. $500,000

COMPLETED – Restoration of the Great Auditorium tower.

COMPLETED – Replace the Bishop Janes Tabernacle roof.

Expand programming with state-of-the-art upgrades and year-round ministry $450,000

COMPLETED – Replacement of the Great Auditorium sound system.

    COMPLETED Develop off-season programming.

To accomplish the mission

of OGCMA for another 150 years, we have established AN AMERICAN TREASURE campaign to raise $1.5 million aimed at meeting some of our most critical needs.

Fully funded, AN AMERICAN TREASURE campaign will significantly invest in the most important hallmarks of Ocean Grove. Not only will the campaign preserve the rich heritage of our past, it will advance our mission into the future. The spiritual theme of the campaign is found in Matthew 6:21 where Jesus tells us, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

When we give sacrificially we are providing for future summer days so the next generation can enjoy new friendships as they rest with warm sand under their feet; refreshed by ocean breezes that quiet the soul; and bring new promptings for spiritual birth, growth, and renewal.

Together we can put our treasure where our hearts are.

What Leadership Looks Like

As a student of history I notice we tend to paint our leaders in a bold light, with a fine tipped brush to show their strength, on a big canvas so they appear larger than life and with almost super human qualities.  They show up on the scene just in the nick of time...
